Punching Shear Check According to
DIN 1045, DIN 1045-1, ÖNORM B 4700, SIA 262 and EN 1992-1-1 (EC2)

The load-bearing safety check against punching shear is carried out according to sections 22.5 (DIN 1045), 10.5 (DIN1045-1), 3.4.5 (ÖNORM), 4.3.6 (SIA 262) and 6.4 (EN 1992-1-1) of the standards.

This is carried out interactively on a shell structure. The decisive punching shear force can be taken from a static calculation (for instance, based on a fundamental or accidental combination) or defined by the user.

The program makes recommendations for the required longitudinal and/or stirrup reinforcement. The location of the supports with respect to the edge and any openings is considered.

All necessary perimeters as well as the minimum reinforcement are checked and then applied. A detailed log (see below) documents the entire calculation.

Next, a punching shear check is carried out according to DIN 1045-1:

The accompanying  calculation log includes the system sketch as well as all relevant formulas and calculation steps.
