Modeling
The program is operated using the InfoCAD graphical
user interface. It is used to define the entire structure including
material and section properties as well as load. To facilitate this
process, all common CAD functions such as positioning, copying,
mirroring, etc. are available. Particular emphasis has been
placed on ease of use when designing the interface. The following
illustrations demonstrate the high level of user comfort during
editing:

 |
|
The structure is designed as a wire model directly in the
CAD user interface with the help of boundary lines.
Alternatively, the boundaries can also be imported using the
DXF or IFC interface. |
 |
|
The boundary elements of the wire model can be easily assigned
section, support or surface properties by clicking them. |
 |
|
The mesh generator recognizes all subareas and generates a mesh
for them automatically, taking into account all specified
marginal conditions such as downstand beams, supports, openings
or support conditions. |
 |
|
Even complicated intersections are calculated
by the program and are meshed automatically. |
 |
|
All objects, for instance, nodes, elements,
supports or loads, can be edited individually or in groups
without having to generate the entire system anew.
The layer and color management helps you maintain clarity
when processing complex structures.
